This is a unique offering will also include a complementary essential oils sample in a beautiful carry bag. Easily a $90 value being offered at $45 for this event only.

This 3 hour Experience will be a combination of temporary Henna body art & practicing nature based mindfulness techniques to help strengthen our bond with the more-than-human world, disconnect from our digital world, and rejuvenate our bodies, minds and souls. The theme for our time together will be focused around Inspiration and Healing

The Henna Experience will be provided by Sophie Hami of Henna Chakra. Sophie is a Henna body art expert. She will provide each guest with a small personalized Henna on your hand (or forearm). The hand is typically most successful, but if you are unsure about even temporary dye you can choose your forearm (underside or top) in case you want/need to occasionally cover it. Henna typically starts to fade after 2 weeks. Folks, if you want the Henna on your forearm and are very hairy you are strongly encouraged to shave your arm to allow the stain to properly connect with your skin. I've done it on the inside of my forearm and it didn't look odd at all

Incorporated with your Henna will be a sample of an essential oil blend gifted to you in a beautiful carry bag. The special oil blend is known to help concentration, release anxiety help you to adapt with new stresses in life.

While you are waiting for your individual turn at Henna your group will have an opportunity to make a group Nature Mandala

While half of the group is getting their Henna, the other half will be with Chuck wandering together for about 1 mile along the winding trails of the Jordan Creek Parkway where we will spend time exploring the wooded trails practicing mindful breathing and the other Mindfulness techniques which are proven to help reduce stress and anxiety, slow us down, and help us be present and live in the moment. We will settle in for our sit spot meditation and council circle nestled next to the Jordan Creek.

We will then switch groups at about the half way point of our time together.

We will end with a full group council circle share.

Let's spend time settling in, focusing on our senses, disconnecting from our digital lives, and really connecting with each other and Mother Nature while we adorn ourselves with beautiful natural Henna art

Are you interested in getting your own personal Henna art & practice Mindfulness? Are you willing to explore your senses & trust Nature to be your guide?

If so, join us.

***Use this address:

This is a gravel parking lot for the Jordan Creek Parkway and Disc Golf. You can park on either side of the road, but we will meet at the entrance to the Disc Golf on the north side of Lehnert Road.

We will be walking mostly on the trails, which are well traveled dirt/gravel but we may wander a bit too. This 1 mile loop route is listed as mostly EASY.

Please be prepared to walk on a natural dirt trail by wearing solid hiking boots or shoes.

Our afternoon will also be spent pausing & connecting with Nature and practicing proven ways to settle in, get centered & grounded, and help alleviate some of our stresses and anxieties by learning to become more present. More Mindful.

This adventure may also include:

Waking up and warming up our bodies.

Exploring the intimate nooks and crannies of some of the less traveled areas.

Spending some time with a special tree.

Maybe finding an off trail hiding place to settle in and take in the views while we practice a seated meditation (sit spot)

Really connecting with our senses and spending time with Nature.

Ending with "council practice" where we will reconnect and share our Experiences with each other.

Bring your favorite blanket to cloak yourself in and/or bring a small towel or pad for sitting for our sit spot meditation (20 minutes). You may also choose to stand.
